Validation

So I was doing a vanity search today to see if this new site would come up on Google, and it did. Number 3! Not bad for being up less than a week. I then perused the usual results — my vis lit article and a number of people who have bookmarked it. No big deal. And then — behold! I’ve been quoted! And at a conference sponsored by the London Grid for Learning, no less. I wonder if they’ll give me a job…

Before I lost my mind and ran off to Africa with the Peace Corps, I was attending grad school and writing about things like visual literacy and the history of media and only theorizing about the education system in Africa instead of living it.
